Even just a few days ago after the Atlanta loss and a few other teams wins there were posters talking about how we can afford to win a few games now. Then we actually do it and everyone goes into a panic.

It's not worth arguing with some people. Early in the season when we win its so exciting, but a few months later when we are eliminated it becomes "gosh, why did we win all those meaningless games". I consider myself to be very pro-tank, but time and time again I log on here and realize that some people have very unrealistic expectations for losing games.

I’m 100% pro tank. But some of you guy are absolutely ridiculous about the lengths you want to go to tank and how upset y’all get. Imagine being the hornets/bobcats. You are the most awful team in league history. You get the top odds. A franchise talent lies at #1 in Anthony Davis. You don’t win the lottery and end up with MKG and now you had a whole lost season for nothing. Stuff happens both ways man. Just be a fan enjoy the season and get excited about the player we get. Cause a bust can happen ANYWHERE in the draft. I am pro tank but I am not gonna let a win here and there get me all butt hurt like some of you. Go ahead and downvote me but y’all get pitiful about this stuff sometimes.

We are pretty much in the exact same position right now that we were before the game. The Mavs win kept us there. Still have the 4th odds. Just relax

I actually think it has given a lot of clarity on him. Just not in the way we had hoped. I just don't think AG is going to be the best player on a contender. Second option maybe. I feel more confident in him as a third. Hope I am wrong.

The FO is in a really tough place on this one. Hennigan's decision to trade Dipo and the results that followed almost make it impossible for WeltHam to not sign him. At the same time, he has some big holes in his game and a huge contract might come back to bite us. Do not envy the FO this Summer.

This Knicks team is AWFUL without Zinger. I am a pro-tanker, but don't mind a win here and there this year unlike some on here. But this game is not the way you want to see games won this year.

I like Bridges a lot. I think that if you put him on a team that has a pretty good core already, that he could be the ultimate glue/3&D guy to make it all work. For us, I don't know that he is the best option because he is a better high floor guy rather than high upside. Would I hate the pick? Nah. Do I think it would change the outlook of our team? Also nah.

I think this Summer is key in getting him the proper conditioning and strength training he needs to have a successful career. Start it now by shutting him down.

See, I don't believe that Doncic will test particularly well which will help us. Doncic is more athletic than people give him credit for, but his game is 100% IQ and fundamentals Man it would be nice to draft based on those types of things every now and then haha.

I am not saying we should take him. But I don't think I would throw a fit over it IF we did a lot of research and doctors gave a thumbs up on his health. Obviously if the docs say that his back will continue to get worse then you never take that chance. Plenty of players with health issues get drafted high because their talent level is worth the risk. We haven't seen much of Porter because of the injury, but if the doctors say that he will be ok and we pick at like 5 or 6 then I say take him because he has as much offensive upside as anyone in the draft. He isn't my first choice, but at some point you have to take a hard look at him when some of these other names come off the board. But what do I know, I don't get paid to do this.

With Porter it all depends on how his medicals check out and how he tests. If the doctors say he will be able to play then I think he might be worth a shot. Definitely don't waste it on THINKING he is gonna be fine though. Only if we get great reports and workouts.

Exactly. Think of how good Charlotte could be if they hadn't dropped the spot in the lotto and drafted AD. Lotto odds don't guarantee anything, but for a franchise in our position, it is the only way to build a competitive roster. Get a true centerpiece and everything starts to fall into place in FA and such. Nobody wants to play for us right now cause we don't have a GREAT building block yet. Maybe the guys we have can get developed, but I think we have to do this.

I'm just preparing myself mentally for getting really good odds and then falling a spot or two in the lotto. I don't think I can handle the salt from Rossman-Reich on twitter if that happens. He has become so unbearable with his anti-tank campaign
