I guess.... I feel your frustration deeply! I know we’ve had injuries, but it feels like we’ve regressed this year some. I would give strong consideration to blowing it up if we don’t righten the ship once we’ve rested and healed a bit; perhaps this summer. We have a horrible offense and the Vooch and Evan (offensive guys) show is getting old. It’s almost a guaranteed 1st round out every year.

Makes sense, if I was fo I would discourage it.

You’re absolutely right, no benefit at all, only to cushion the ego. I’m not saying he did that, I’m just pointing out the obvious that if you have aches and pains especially with a Achilles’ tendon which is huge!; I wouldn’t be taking a chance during the AS break; a time that these guys need to heal up for the the final push, it just doesn’t make sense to take that risk!

So it looks like Gordon is going to be in his 3rd Slam Dunk contest, yet he has been complaining that he has these nagging injuries with Achilles, knee and foot; interesting! I mentioned in a post a week or so ago that maybe he is playing up the injuries due to his poor numbers and of course I got whacked with a bunch of -. So, I’ll just leave it at that and root for a third time being a charm.

3rd time is a charm, I guess. I was hoping he would build his brand on the court this year. I thought he had all these nagging injuries.

We’re just not very good.... I hope we can do something, anything; please! I’m hoping the rough schedule has something to do with this, but everyone has injuries this time of year so we can’t use that excuse.

They’re missing 2 starters in PG and Beverly and they are still handling us at home. We got a ways to go.

So far our front office has hit it with JI, MCW and the Fultz deal, but everything else has been questionable; I guess Iwundu is ok. I’ll give them a C+.

Ok, here we go.... Tacko Fall is our UCF guy who went undrafted last year will be going up against Bamba our #6 pick; similar style players, so this will be interesting. Let’s see if there is a noticeable difference.

I think Bamba is destined to be a role player, so do we want to resign/extend him at his value pick number 6? I just don’t see anything special here aside from his length which is vastly overrated to his impact. He’s slow reacting, streaky shooter and is outplayed by both centers on our roster, it’s evident by the 15 minutes he’s been getting and that’s with Burch playing some at the 4. Sorry faithfuls but I call it as I see it. Fultz is the real deal!

I think you may perceive them as selfish because like it or not they are our best offensive players and have to take the shots; otherwise who takes them? Certainly not Gordon, JI is learning, TRoss shoots his a.. off and is not very efficient much of the time and Fultz is coming on and will be getting more shots as time progresses.

That percentage will go up, I know everyone wants a needle mover, but I doubt you get that with Gordon. He is not that great. I’m suggesting reasonable trades that will balance out our roster but the nets probably wouldn’t even bite.

Understood, but you’re going on your premise that Dinwiddie can’t play off the ball and you and I have already beaten that horse. Remember, you said the NBA source that supports the notion that Dinwiddie can play off the ball was deemed unreliable by you; a local sports writer in New York.

This is true, but DJ is an expiring contract. Unless we plan on resigning him, he is gone anyway. Dinwiddie and Harris will more then make up for his offensive production.

I just find it hard to believe as conservative as our front office is with injuries that after examining him they would jeopardize his future as a player or trading chip. They are more careful then most teams with their players.

Be careful if you critique AG on this board, the AG lovers will give you a -. You're not allowed to speak the truth, but excellent observation; it's been 6 years; we expect more, that's all.

I agree the Biz contract hurt, but I don’t think people appreciate enough of what Vooch brings. He is a very good rebounder and passer but mainly he spaces the floor which many centers don’t do and his defense has been decent.

This is purely speculation, but it was interesting that Durant went publicly on twitter of his appreciation of Vooch. Is it possible that The Nets are falling apart?; as Kyrie remains an enigma with this shoulder injury; perhaps Durant sees the writing on the wall and is prospecting his next move. The question for us is, is it worth considering as he is 31 and recovering from an Achilles injury? It usually doesn’t work out too well at that age; see Kobe.

DJ is an expiring

I suggested a Dinwiddie, Harris trade for AG, it works in trade machine. We get a very solid back up to replace DJ who could start for most teams and a great 3 pt shooter.
