They’re interchangeable if at least one of players can shoot otherwise it’s a problem. Our spacing is not very good because we are a poor shooting team and this allows teams to pack the paint and then Vooch whom is one of the best players in the post is deemed ineffective.

As I’ve said before, if AG hits his 3s at a good clip 36%+ it’s a game changer, otherwise it hurts us. I had a certain dissertation from a person that remains nameless about AG is a perfect compliment to JI which is ridiculous when both forward spots are shooting subpar from 3; (pretty much everyone but Evan), but he criticizes everyone; no big deal. When AG is shooting 28/30% like he has all season it makes life harder on everyone and he was shooting back to his mean last game; it doesn’t work against good teams. It’s very obvious we need people that can shoot, otherwise the game plan for other teams is a lot easier.

That’s a good argument if Gordon keeps hitting 3s.

I suppose if you make all your assumptions you could be right, but JI and AG are still both best suited at the 4.

You don’t think JI, AG, Aminu, Okeke, partly Iwundu isn’t overlap?

He has shown that he can certainly be an impact player. The question we have to ask ourselves is are we ok with overlap at the position or do we trade for a guard/small forward with similar upside to be more balanced.

True he was better in NJ, but he is still a threat that has to be game planned for. We or our opponents never know when he can go off, but yes he has been wildly inconsistent this year. I believe once our team shoots better his numbers will improve as they are always keying in on him and Vooch.

Yeah, kinda expect him to opt out as he Will probably will get 20+ on the market if you look at similar stats of other players and considering his age.

I think a lot of Gordon’s issues are mental. He obviously has all the tools, but has a tendency to push sometimes and then it doesn’t work and he gets out of sync. on another note Evan is making it very difficult not to resign him.

Ball movement, AG coming to life, TRoss flame is back and Bamba is playing with purpose and focus on D; all of a sudden we’re back. Can we sustain?

Don’t get me wrong I’m happy with the win, but in the long game the Nets have their 2 Allstar players coming back next year and we’re pretty even with them right now.

We should rename them the cardiac kids.

This very well could be our most important game to date. We are playing a team that is right above us in the standing. If we can’t get up for this game then we are done. I don’t want any excuses that you didn’t approach the game right or shots aren’t falling or need to play with more purpose. It’s time to sink or swim... who are you Magic? Define yourself with this statement game! We’ll all be pulling for you, but it’s your time right now this will define your mental fortitude.

Lakeland Magic have lost 4 straight; we’re losing, what’s happening with this organization? I thought Lakeland would be good.

Don’t sweat it folks, I’ve been on this board for many years; also under a different handle. I use to have a lot of ups but lost them due to having my own respectful opinion. I think there are some immature people on this board perhaps very young; not saying being young lacks credibility. It doesn’t matter because your truth and sound assessments will Trump the haters. People on the board know who has good insight; stay strong to your convictions.

I’m most disappointed this season with AG, TRoss & Bamba, in that order. Most folks thought AG would break out this year. I was looking at his stats and it’s alarming, plus his body language has been suspect. I want him to succeed but something is up, I feel it. I’m sure he’s heard the trade attempt chatter. Ross shot 38% last game but was a -17 and has been horribly inconsistent, Bamba is just a flat out enigma.
