I think that's an interesting way of looking at it. Also to add Jabari to me is a 6"10 Aaron Gordon with a better 3pt shot. He'll be a good pro (maybe even all-star) but not franchise changing IMO

I can see it. Edwards is a super explosive athlete and if he can improve his shooting he'll be great! As a second year player, already asserting himself as the alpha on the team that is now back in the playoffs in the west is no easy feat. And he talks a great game!!

I think Weltmans assessment of Mo is fair. He's had a bunch of injuries and COVID. This is technically his first full year as a starter in the NBA and most of it has been without a legit PG until Fultz came back, on a team without many vets (who aren't competing for his starting spot). I would like to see him return next year for the right amount and see whether he can take the leap we need

I would love for you to be right but I don't see it. He's probably at the point in his career where because he hasn't won much he wants to play with other all stars. Has he even played a playoff game yet? Best chance any team would have of getting him is if the Bulls get swept in the first round without putting up much of a fight... This is the reason why we are going to have have to develop one of our young players into an all-star because we aren't a big free agent destination and to get all-star calibre players you need to have them first.

I would love to have Lavine but I don't see why he would leave Chicago unless they try and low ball him?

What do we think about Shaedon Sharpe? He's high on some draft boards despite not playing and wanted some opinions of people that are more clued in on draft prospects

It was the Vuc trade that landed us the Chicago pick in last years draft, although imo it was necessary as we needed to have some direction as a franchise (even if some don't agree with the direction)

As much as I would have liked Reddish, and have my preservations about our front office, it could be that ATL didn't want to trade him within the division...

Gordon is paid like an NBA starter and that was always his ceiling. I think we overrate our own players sometimes because it was clear to most that he was never an all star/all defense level player

If he continues as he started this season it would be foolish of us not to tie him down to a deal similar to WCJ. So far this season his game is what I thought it would be when we drafted him
