I hope you’re right. Seriously would love if you were. I really don’t see how Hammond and Welt who are so methodical and analytical would give Vuc 4 years. It just seems like such a nearsighted move to appease casual fans and make the playoffs.

I was like 6 during those days but I remember them. I’m just torn up over this. I braved myself for a possible overpay but I never thought we would do 4 years. I just can’t fathom locking Vuc in for 4 years. Who were we outbidding?

I’m out guys. I’ve enjoyed the last decade on here with a lot of you. I can’t deal with this franchise anymore. There are so many things wrong with the deal that I just have to step away. I’ve never been so mad at this team before. Ruined my weekend. It sucks because I was really looking forward to seeing some of these guys develop but I’m not sticking around. I’ll check in to see how Fultz does but I can’t anymore. Anyone trying to justify the years on the deal is a total shill. There’s nothing good about it. Nothing. The replacement is on the team. If you don’t think Bamba and birch can handle it sign a guy like Baynes for a year. This ruins us. We are now completely locked into mediocrity for the next 4 years and we have very little ways to improve outside of player development. This was a devastating And completely nearsighted move. Making the playoffs last year was the worst thing that could have happened to us.

JJ Is playing the best basketball of his career. You have to remember he didn’t play over 20 minutes a game until his 4th year in the nba. He eats clean and takes incredibly good care of his body. He will still be playing really good basketball for 2-3 more years easy.

People saying Vuc is an all star and we can’t let him walk need to realize he most likely will never make an all star game again. He’s always been a fringe all star type but finally had slightly better numbers to get him in. Its not like we’re letting a perennial all star leave town. This isn’t like other times.

I think we can let Vuch walk and have a similar record if we make some smart bench signings and bring in a you like Brogdon.

He won’t get over 8 per I don’t think. Can’t imagine him getting more then Lou williams. Yea he’s younger but he pretty much is what he is at this point. Williams is a much more consistent 6th man.

If this isn’t the last half he’s on our team I’m going to have to evaluate my investment in this team! I just can’t do it anymore. He had a nice regular season. Came back down to earth after the all star break though. It’s just the same thing with him every year. We know who he is. I’m gonna need Vuch And Fournier gone once and for all.

Who said the magic were going to sweep the Raptors? No one here said that and I can’t imagine anyone who watched any amount of Magic or Raptors basketball this year would have said or thought that. No 2 seed in the history of the NBA has been swept.

Yes. Like I said earlier—I’m eating crow but I’m completely happy to be doing so. Gordon was the only guy who seemed ready for the moment. Went hard on both ends and didn’t at any moment look like a scared dog with his tail between his legs. Respect to him. Here’s to hoping him tasting the playoffs motivates him more then ever now. I’m with you AG. Vuch and Fournier are dead to me.

I’m completely fine with this. If we have to take a small step backwards to take a step forward then so be it. I do not want to lock ourselves into mediocrity and that’s what Vuch does to us. We all already knew how soft he was and how badly he hates physical play but seeing it in the playoffs magnified that. He’s not the answer. Fournier can just come off the bench or whatever. It’s on mgmt to figure the rest out. I might not know exactly what the answer is—but I do know what the answer isn’t—and that’s Vuch and Fournier. It’s long overdue.

Yea Clifford has to get some blame for this too. Although our bench is so bad idk who he would play more. Iwundu? Yikes.

We will find out this summer. I’m hoping they aren’t. I have my doubts.

Vuch and Fournier are street trash. They’re soft pathetic frauds. I don’t want either on this team next year. If this playoffs were good for 1 thing it’s showing us who the duds officially are.

Really hope we don’t break the bank on a long term deal for him.
