Magic basketball is getting FUN again - we have a future to look forward to!!

Isaac has defensive player of the year upside. Fultz has definite star moments and the pedigree to give him that kind of ceiling. This month alone he has a 6 steal game, the highest single game +/- in the post Dwight era, and a 12 point 4th quarter against another playoff team. We played the draft pick game already and it didn't work. It requires considerable luck and the right guy to be there and we're not in a place to sacrifice seasons of guys we already have. And is Boston succeeding simply because of jaylen Brown and Tatum's talent? Or are they succeeding because they added those guys to a 48 win team that had good vets to teach them how to win? Is Toronto succeeding simply because of siakam and Fred Vanvleet's talent? Or are they succeeding because they added those guys to a 56 win team that had good vets to teach them how to win? What about Utah with Donovan Mitchell? I think a lot of player's value is natural but a large underrated portion is putting them into the best position to succeed. I don't think you can just lose for several years and gather a ton of young players together and expect them to turn into winners. It's why Phoenix hasn't succeeded with their 10 lotto picks in the last 9 drafts. It's why the Lakers looked terrible before they dumped all their young players. It's why Minnesota hasn't had any sustained success despite being in the lottery almost every year since 2005. You gotta get talent then develop it. You can't just let the talent lose and develop bad habits.

Just stay within a basket until Fultz can finish and Vuc makes amends.

Establishing an identity, playing hard on both sides of the ball - with our best defensive player and leading scorer out!

I'm not rooting for a loss. In rooting for the magic to not make this game to go in predictable fashion. So the replay center, having all feeds to game, decided to count illegitimate three pointer. Sounds predictable.

Lot of silly mistakes but playing hard, caught lakers sleep walking in beginning leading to 20 pt lead - need to keep pressure on and continue taking and making uncontested shots. Seems as when Vuc receives the ball down low he just throws the ball at the basket, needs to change.

The magic won't win this game. The scariest thing about the lakers isnt the lakers at all. It's how the game is controlled by the officials. Their confidence comes from being confident the officials will save them in the end. I read every lopponent's reddit after a win or loss in a match up with the lakers. They of course always complain about the officials jobbing them out of the game. Especially the Mavericks who have been screwed 3 of 4 of their matches against them. The last with doncic tearing his Jersey and Carlisle being thrown out In an argument with lebron. The lakers will win the championship as long as everything goes accordingly to NBA's and ESPN's will. They should. They're getting the Miami heat treatment. The bucks of course are the most elite and legitimate team in the league but even their fans are afraid of the hypothetical officiating they'd get if they were to matchup against them. Especially after the third quarter in the matchup against the lakers where the officials got anthony davis to the line more 8 times. It was a move to control the pace turning a embarassing blowout into a close game. Next year of course, the window will be shut closed for the Lakers as the warriors will be back after a year hiatus. I tried to look at everything objectively this time instead of using my stemming hatred of both lebron and Lakers. The lakers are going to win and theres nothing no team in league can do about it. It's so ridiculously overt that everyone here should see it.

Does this mean I took two naps today for nothing?

Oh so now it doesn't matter if it's a center. Well good news, we have a number 1 pick point guard who is the best prospect since we started our rebuild other than Zion and a potential DPOY type player. Mission accomplished. Now let's develop them.

It means your post was a non sequitur relative to what going on. It's not relevant to anything. You're complaining about something that isn't really relevant to what's going on today with the team. Martins hasn't been relevant to basketball decisions for almost 3 years. We aren't stuck in mediocrity yet because the core of our team is still extremely young. You're having anxiety about choices that aren't important for 18 months

What does that even mean? I have seen and experienced more basketball than you? I have been around since the inception of this franchise and you are just new to the game? You have very insightful knowledge you share on here and I have learned from you and I appreciate it. But humble yourself a bit! Your a baby when it comes to bball knowledge!

This is an expected vucevic performance by now. When he entered the game, we lost momentum and now hes minus -1. Fultz and wes +/- was brought down with him out there. Terrence ross missed a critical momentum busting play. He should have made that dunk. This game need over 20 points by the 6 minute mark of the 4th for me or any of you to ever feel comfortable.

I’m sorry but do you research things before you respond? His ts% has been down since his second year in the league- with a brief blip last year thanks to his 3point proficiency that I already mentioned. It’s gone now anyway. Either way, everything else was down. Everything. Just go look at his advanced stats on bball reference...look at EVERYTHING. There is a clear trend. Again I have nothing against him; given our position we would be wise to sell as high as possible. His value is not going up, that is all. No emotion.

Okay I thought you actually watched the nba! We are not even close talent wise to anything! I love our players but you know greatness when you see it and we don't have that. Fultz is the only one and that is a longshot!!
