You want a center that can be a dive man. To protect the rim. Get put backs. Occasionally space the floor. Dunk the ball on weakside cuts on dump offs.
Anything else is superfluous.
That's why I wanted Bamba. He can do those things. But, optimistically, he should never average more than 14 ppg. He just needs to be Clint Capella while also hitting some threes here and there.
