Yes. Absolutely. You want movement. High usage centers slow a team down. You want a center that can be a dive man. To protect the rim. Get put backs. Occasionally space the floor. Dunk the ball on weakside cuts on dump offs. Anything else is superfluous. That's why I wanted Bamba. He can do those things. But, optimistically, he should never average more than 14 ppg. He just needs to be Clint Capella while also hitting some threes here and there. To maximize vucevic is to play a very particular way. It kills movement. It's predictable. It limits our entire offense to a one on one play. Sometimes that works out very well for us. Other times it kills us.

Maybe bamba talked to him and scientifically broke down how the world can’t be flat

It cracks me up, truth be told. But he clearly watches the games and has an actual interest in the team. So the forum post spoofs I believe he does is kinda humorous.

That's why we should trade vucevic for an upgrade elsewhere and just run Bamba/Birch

Thanks Doc! I just hope that Birch continues to get important minutes moving forward.

Good to see Cliff feeling good about this win. And I can see that the win tonight has done wonders here in this forum. We should all feel good about this win tonight.

Player of the game tonight may actually have been Fournier. 18 points and hit a huge 3 near the end of the game.

The weirdest thing to me is Gordon going 13/13 on FTs

Terrible. Then amazing. Then terrible again. Gordon and Birch helped us go on a big run. DJ vucevic and Fournier shot 5-20

Ever since Birch went out the defensive intensity dropped.

I'm hoping Vuc looks so good Ainge thinks he's watching the second coming of McHale and trades us Brown, Rozier, and a first rounder

When I wrote my original comment I was really trying to think of the last player this team developed and Jameer was who came to mind. If i remember correctly he was a 4 year college player and very mature. He was the last competent point guard this team has had and even back then this board always complained about him. "Shoot first"

-So we could do Ross for Wesley Johnson and a lightly protected 1st (top 8 maybe?) -Vuc and a second to Boston for Rozier Banes Yabu and the Kings pick that would be 3 potential lotto picks plus the chance to demo our potential pg of the future in Rozier.... I’d be in on that for sure

Wow not many here tonight I see. They may in fact be the smart ones. This may not end well for the Magic I am afraid. But who knows ? With this team they could win by 20 tonight. You just never know what you're gonna get. Like a box of chocolates. That's what the character Forest Gump said in that movie. I forget the name of the movie though.

Boston is shooting around 35 percent so far and yet the Magic are down by 7. That last shot by AG was about a foot wide to the right. Magic shooting 17 percent. Now that the losing/tanking/or whatever is in full mode the Magic will have their built in excuse not to make any kind of deal at the trade deadline.

Evan is 0-4 so far. When was the last time he hit a shot ? The last game he didn't I believe.

Boston WILL tie or take the lead. Book it.

Not liking what I see thus far. The body language looks awful. They appear sluggish and snake bitten.

Magic are 4 for 19 from the field. I can already read the handwriting on the wall. Body language. It is all about body language.
  22. -2 points
The body language is actually looking much better. However it has to be sustained for a full 48 minutes.

Now the Magic will be fouled and make 1 out of 2 at the line, Boston will then hit a deuce to tie or a triple to win. Book it. Book it. Just the way things are going. I see it clear as day. In fact it has already happened. Just giving you all a heads up for the inevitable.

Vooch will DEFINITELY miss atleast 1 here maybe even both.

I called it. I called it. I called it. I knew it would happen. Of course it already has. Now Boston ties it or wins it. Vooch and DJ cost us the win tonight. Plain and simple.
