Shoot unsustainable for a month Regression toward the mean Rinse and repeat

That's all any of us have been discussing.

I'm a season ticket holder and made the trip to Mexico City for the Saturday game against the Utah Jazz. It was an awesome experience with over 20,000 in attendance and of course a Magic win. Some of the fan differences - everyone cheered for both teams. Basically they enjoyed the sport and wanted to see good plays. Kind of funny seeing folks cheer for both teams and not just their favorite unlike a visiting or home team fan. Also the fans whistled a lot which was the equivalent to fans clapping in the U.S. Of course a lot of the announcements were in spanish and they had a fan fest in the arena versus outside. A really neat experience taking our game to a different country and good to see we came back with 2 wins! Made a brief Youtube from the trip - check it out.

When does Issac start looking like a 5th overall pick? Lauri sure looked like the 6th overall pick lastnight. The act with AG is getting old too. The guy just doesn’t seem like he’s ever gonna take that step and consistently be a playmaker. I know we’re not supposed to say negative things about AG and Issac only Vuch and Fournier but those guys need to be better. I’m still giving Bamba a pass but he seems to almost be regressing at this point. Same old Magic.

Story of the team for the past 3 years to be honest. Evan’s been like this since we chose him over Victor. We’ve been living with above average role players pretending to be superstars for years, and worse we pair that with thinking the most important position in the league isn’t something we need to invest in.

Been watching the games again. Our team was better when Fournier was less assertive. When he was having his “slump” earlier in the season, the team was playing team ball. It has reverted to selfish Fournier the last few games. And it ain’t pretty. Fournier is the issue. He could work if he comes off the bench. But Fournier is a dangerous type of player. His selfishness is masked with better stats yet we lose. This was observed after rewatching some losses. Fournier is the kryptonite. It was never Vuc.

Right now the Magic are a half game behind Miami for the number 8 spot. Two teams heading in the opposite direction. The Magic are a 5 or 6 game losing streak away from being a bottom feeder again. If this does in fact happen then you know the TANKER truck will be here again.

Yeah, idk man. 66 points mid way through the 3rd against arguably the worst team in the league without their two best players... It just *****ing sucks because we haven’t looked like the team that hung with GS, POR, TOR, DEN for several weeks. Can’t help but feel like whatever positive improvements we had going have worn off. Maybe I’m being overly negative due to a bad loss but I haven’t seen much promising play for a while.

And that ladies and gentleman is your ballgame. Now after this loss to the Bulls they play Miami next in Orlando. With the way they are playing now it doesn't look very promising. This could in fact be the point in the season like it has been the past 6 years where things go in the TANK rather quickly.

I’m not sure there’s much reason to give our offense the benefit of the doubt over the past couple weeks tbh.

I really hate when we try to shoot ourselves out of a drought instead of getting into the paint.

Mauro, I was about to make a similar comment but was afraid to. He looks like a cave man. Edit: I actually try not to look at him.

No. We're fine. What's more likely? That we continue to shoot 35% or that everything regresses to the mean and we outscore them significantly in the second half? Bad teams don't get torched from the get go every game. They lead some and fumble it away at the end. We should know how this works. We watched it for a while.

I have a gift when it comes to reading body language and right now the Magic look like a defeated team. At that point it becomes painfully obvious that a loss is inevitable. That is how I know they lost this game tonight.

Get some god damn offense. AG just does not do it for me, I don’t get the optimism on him. Trade vooch, Ross etc and blow it up. Need young talent. Don’t see point of trying for 8 seed
