We don’t need another backup PG. We need a starting PG.

That’s awesome, I’ve never been to a playoff game unfortunately but when we finally make it, and I go it’ll be worth the wait I’m sure. I had a good run-in with the team as well, few years ago the team was asking for fans stories on how they fell in love with the team or something, emailed them my story and sure enough I got a reply back asking me to attend an event they put togethor but I couldn’t make it since i was working my first job and didn’t wanna get fired so soon lol. To this day I wish I woulda called in but never a bad experience with our team.

Lets just hope they are all injury free this season. I can't wait to see Bamba playing and also what PG we are gonna get

This trade does nothing. Lateral movement. I remember two years ago when everyone was blasting the Mozgov signing and then praising the Biyombo signing. Now the sentiment has flipped and the same posters saying Mozgov is better and brings "championship" experience. Some of you posters need to take the blinders off, look in the mirror and actually think, no critically assess, what just happened. Grant is now on his third team in what will be four seasons. And Mozgov (IMO) hasn't recovered from his shoulder injury, and only played 31, yes THIRTY ONE games last season (he sucks that much). Biz while not the best player, was at least healthy enough to provide minutes at his position. so yea, lateral movement. Expect Mozgov to be glued to his seat, and Grant to be a high risk, high reward type player. If he flames out we don't give him a QO.

We will see as the Summer League games ensue but I think Isaac and/or Bamba will be in the starting lineup. PG is a ? at this point. I do not see the above lineup even with IT creating excitement and selling tickets. PG, Ross or Fournier, Isaac, Gordon and Bamba creates excitement and hope and sells tickets. This year, especially who starts, should be about the future not the past.

Exactly. Simmons is more valuable to toronto than any team right now. Not worth taking back more salary/yrs on powell. We’d be better off getting cj miles/wright for simmons/johnson. Miles has 2 yrs at 8m left and brings shooting and length.

It appears that Cash was the only reason. I Do not think it will do anything for a cap situation. It might open a roster spot if we waive Dakari. Are we in any financial position that we need to worry about cash?. I was hoping that there was another reason behind it. Help with our cap situation, A pick, subsequent move(VUC) etc..

Powell still has 4 years and $42 mill on his contract, so I’m a strong no to that. Also, hell no to Jordan Clarkson.
