Theres a recent report that their front office is split on if they should keep him or go win now. I wonder if we could do monk and mkg for Augustin, Simmons, and the okc pick or one of our future picks that its perpetually lotto protected.

He literally can only shoot. Fournier shooting nearly 40% and is a much better player. Id like to have Kennard—my point is he’s not exactly a world beater prospect and if Fournier and EP can’t get us a player of his caliber my expectations are lowered.

Fournier has value but adding EP took it away in that deal.

We could unload EP, do that Charlotte trade, maybe even a 3 way so they can send off salary, and have Monk run the point. Ya know that would take the rest of the season to learn.

I would not be disappointed if we got him at all. It is hard not to make a case for ANY of the top 5 guys in the draft, I just hope we don't get a bunch of meaningless wins and knock ourselves out of contention for one of them!

If im ever about to make a ridiculously bold statement about how good or bad somebody is I just think about the good old days when I was certain Dante Exum would be a star and keep quiet.

I just have to sit back and laugh at the cocksure opinions. Over time I've learned to be more careful with those

Ok...so the topic is Isaac. There shouldn't be any controversy regarding Isaac at all. You guys have been through the rebuild TOO DAMN long to be thinking like this. Some of you have been through like four rebuilds. Isaac gets a pass for three years. Let's hope his career doesn't start like Jabari Parker or MKG. Around the NBA: The new Utah Jazz Uni's...are beautiful. Perfect shading for a desert sunset. I loved watching them play Golden State the other night. I think that was part of the reason GS got blown out. Those jerseys are a beautiful distraction. Much envy. Rest in peace to Rasual Butler. He jumped around many teams during his tenure in the league. He's got plenty of older former allstars as close friends. Rasual Butler was also 3 and D for the 2005 champion Miami Heat. His wife was also an American Idol contestant, Leah LaBelle. There's loss for both trades.

    Mario another good game.

No. Ayton is nothing like Al Jefferson. He's like David Robinson size with modern athleticism that can shoot. The potential there is generational, forget all-star caliber/max contract colloquialisms. That doesn't mean he pans out, but he has more going for him than anyone in the draft.

    I think he heard you.

Because we need some playing time to see what Speights can do. He’s still kind of on the young side also.

You mention to get something. what exactly is the “something”? I still dont understand what people think we can get anything better back by trading AG at this point. I just honestly dont see any scenario at this point that I will entertained that idea. A first round pick? I dont think that any of the top 5 players in this draft will be a sure thing better that what AG is at the moment. We need to sign him. Give him the max. Convince Mario to sign a multiyear contract with us. Give him some Amway shares or pay him with Bitcoins.. IDK but make it happen. Trade DJ, Vuc, Maybe Fournier and Work hard on getting some assets back. select Young, Ayton, or Doncic. Let Payton test the market and match any offer under 10mill. per year if we go with Ayton or let him walk and go after Evans. If we select Young or Doncic let him walk .

IMO we need to focus on AG and let Payton go. His lack of willingness to take the outside shot creates spacing problems and it won't be too much longer before his hair has totally obliterated his ability to see the basket. Also his lack of consistency on defense is a problem. We are much better off to trade him or let him go and get our PG of the future through the draft. If we can keep him cheap by all means do it, but he has not shown that he is worthy of a BIG contract.
